Ibiza Island
Ibiza, la isla blanca or white island, is considered the most beautiful among the
three Balearic Islands and surrounded with the beautiful cove beaches, high towering
cliffs, covered with pine trees all over, it provides the best places to hang out
and to spend your holidays. The island’s capital, Ibiza town, is one of Europe’s
oldest towns, which grew into an important fortress, until many hundreds years later
when it became the capital of Pituses –pine Islands – formed by Ibiza and Formentera.
Ibiza’s 5 municipalities SANT JOSEP DE SA TALAIA, SANTA EULARIA DES RIU, SANT ANTONI
DE PORTMANY, SANT JOAN DE LABRITJA and EIVISSA-IBIZA carry their unique charm which
reflects their own importance.
Ibiza is hilly and has sandy CALAS and ROCKS and the most beautiful sandy shores.
Its highest mountain is ATALAYA OF SA TALAIASSA DE SANT JOSEP. Ibiza has the most
balanced climate of the Balearen. The biological variety and culture from Ibiza
were declared WORLD CULTURAL HERITAGE.
Nowadays many, many people from all over the world, travel to the island to experience
its magic and beauty and of courses its frantic nightlife and party scene.
Most people in the younger generation bracket come to celebrate the extravagant
nightlife and dance all night in their favorite clubs on Ibiza.
